This is pretty important to me. As an artist, I appreciate all forms of art. Why demolish a beautiful piece of art created by a diversity of talented artists of all over, with so much style and individuality? It would be such a shame to destroy art. There isn’t enough. This place shows art in a different form in which people don’t appreciate and by people I mean the society that has no love for art whether it’s a piece done by some kid on the street or by Vincent Van Gogh. 5Pointz is an incredible piece of artwork meant to be shared, reflected, and admired. The mission that 5Ptz continues to have reflects the appreciation and demands of artists from all over the world to come to 5Ptz and beautify its structure. The colorful art that’s displayed is a symbol that graffiti continues to be the next growing artform since the late Renaissance Art & likes of Van Gogh & Monet. Meres has been doing a great job facilitating events; such as the Meeting of Styles, coat & toy drives and successful food drives. His dedication to his muse and the community is priceless and your efforts to keep 5Ptz open would be greatly appreciated.
